Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We enjoyed happy gour from 4-6pm with nice food and drinks. The live band was great and interacting with us, the crew tried their best as well but a clear separation between waiter and front desk personell was difficult to understand. We came back the same evening for a drink and the next das for another happy hour. Recommended!"
"We ate at Mangoes in mid November for dinner on their patio. The food was amazing, service great and overall atmosphere so fun! A couple of favorites were the Blue crab taco appetizers and the loaded pineapple! And if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of the adorable 6toed mama kitty and her babies hiding in some shrubbery! Definitely a must try restaurant!"
"A nice Carribean restaurant in the middle of Duval street and has a nice ambience. The outdoor seating and indoor seatings provide customers the choice of where they want to be seated. The bar area also has bar seatings. The service is nice and food is good overall. The best was the pineapple salad I love it. But cauliflower tajin was a bit disappointing. The rest of the dishes were up to the mark but nothing outstanding. However, overall it was good overall with quick service and food was value for money."
"Me and my wife reserved the Banyan Room to host our wedding rehearsal dinner for our wedding party and family. The food was so delicious. The servers kept bringing more as needed. They kept coming by to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The atmosphere was very tranquil and relaxing. Our wedding coordinator Bradi Parks (Cahill) recommended Mangoes and it did not disappoint!"
"The vegetarian food- watermelon salad - and chicken sandwich were delicious. Drinks were good. Server was nice but apparently had too manyy tables to get back to us very often. Had to wait for drinks and for check. Nice server though. Nice place to eat. Quiet. Clean. We were not rushed at all"
"Item air restaurant and bare that's berm a staple on Duval St for quite a long time. We love the appetizers and cocktails but the best thing about Mangoes are their desserts. We love their key lime pie, truly or favorite in the keys. They also have live music, and unlike most other venues in Key West with live music - the volume is such that you can still have a conversation. Love that."
"We stopped here while on the food tour for the Conch fritters with key lime aioli and Pre-Conch Republic Chowder. I have a shellfish allergy so I had the mahi-mahi taco, which had wonderful flavor. My husband enjoyed this conch fritters and chowder, and he usually does not eat things like that. He said the aioli was delicious."
"Here’s a polished review for Mangoes: ⸻ We had such a fun dinner at Mangoes! We lucked out with timing — the Christmas parade passed right by the restaurant, adding so much energy and making the whole night feel festive and memorable. The outdoor space is adorable and worked perfectly for our group of 10 girls. Food-wise, the conch fritters were really good, crispy, and full of flavor. I had the shrimp salad, which was delicious with an amazing dressing that totally made the dish. A lively spot with great food, a cute atmosphere, and the perfect setting for a girls’ night out."
